Leider muss ich das Motel schlecht bewerten, obwohl die Zimmer und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis gut sind. Grund ist die Berechnung des Zimmerpreises trotz eines mangels, der nicht behoben werden konnte. ||Meine Reisebegleitung und ich nahmen sehr starken Gasgeruch vor dem Zimmer war. Man beschwichtigte uns durch das Personal mit Ausreden, aber wir wollten auf Nummer sicher gehen und verliessen das Hotel. Die Hotelleitung hatte kein Verständnis und behauptete weiterhin es gebe keine Probleme und wollten den bereits belasteten Betrag auf der Kreditkarte nicht mehr gut schreiben und berechneten den Zimmerpreis voll. Schade und sehr Kundenunfreundlich.||Alle denen wir die Geschichte erzählten, sagten, dass es auf jeden Fall richtig war, auszuziehen.

Meine Bewertung für das La Quinta Inn Denton:||||plus:||ordentliche Möbel, viel Licht im Zimmer, helle Bettwäsche, ordentliches Frühstück, geschützt liegende Poolanlage.||||minus:||das Motel ist renovierungsbedürftig, die Wände und Scheuerleisten im Frühstücksbereich sind z.T. reichlich verdreckt, das Bad unseres Zimmers war sehr klein, es krabbelten diverse Käfer auf dem Boden herum, ein neuer Anstrich und ein neuer Duschvorhang waren überfällig und die Fliesen im Bodenbereich waren wirklich übel zusammengeschustert.||||Zusammengefasst also eine ordentliche Übernachtung, wenn man nicht so empfindlich ist und über einiges hinwegschaut.

This hotel is one of the most disappointing experience ever. My family and I have never lived with roaches and on average you will kill on average 6 a night. The front desk people are somewhat helpful, but the last straw was when some random crackhead just walked into our room without a key. The room security door was not working come to find out and anyone at any time could just walk in to our room. When confronted about that main issue they tried to review the security footage the system crashed. Asked to be moved to a different room and they refused. So we ended up staying in the room with just the latch lock and the manager came around 2 hours after the fact and replaced the batteries in the door and the locks finally worked. At 1:30 the same morning someone else just tried to pull the same thing as far just walking into the room. When confronted the front desk about that in the morning they refused to give any compensation for someone walking into our room when we wasn't there but our children. The only thing they offered to do was give a 10$ discount on the next stay........ No never again would I spend another penny with this poorly ran company. There are junkies roaming the property at all hours of the day or night and they even get high and nod off in the stairwells.

I like this hotel. I stayed here for 4 months straight and never had any issues. It can get loud sometimes and the cops come, but nothing that causes me to have to open my door. No roaches, clean rooms, clean showers, and tons of channels to watch. Can't complain.

The room was full of roaches and flies and smelt of cigerate smoke so thick it makes you almost want to vomit. Was able to take care of the cigerate smoke with a 2 dollar fabric cleaning we ordered, but they apparently, can't be bothered. There were people roaming and knocking at doors at night and the front desk did nothing. They will bring a large generator outside your room while you are trying to sleep to clean something? This hotel smells awful all the time, looks terrible, and is full of roaches. Avoid at all costs.

The clerk working late night was very helpful, but the first room stank from the laundry next door. When we moved rooms, everything was fine. The only downside is it’s located next to the highway, so there is a lot of traffic noise outside.

It is conveniently located just north of I-35E, there is a Whataburger nextdoor, there is lots of parking completely surrounding the hotel (very handy when towing a trailer) & the pool is nice. There is a small restaurant on the property that is currently closed for renovations.

The door lock beeps incessantly if the deadbolt is not engaged & needs batteries changed. The only lights in the room are in the bathroom, 1 ceiling light in the corner by the window, and 2 wall lights between the beds. There is no good lighting for the kitchenette area.

Most of the buttons of the built-in microwave do not work, nor does the light or fan underneath it. The 2 burner electric stove works but one control knob does not like to stay attached.

The full-size fridge & freezer is very cold (had to turn down thermostat to keep fridge from freezing my drinks,) but the doors open facing the wall, and the door barely clears the bed. Very inconvenient arrangement.

I checked in on Friday & informed the front desk of the door lock & microwave problems. They sent a guy on Saturday to look at the microwave. He said they will work on replacing it & changing lock batteries on Monday.

It is quiet, for the most part. My room faces the pool & you can hear children playing when they do. The freeway traffic is a very light constant background noise, not bothersome at all. They accept pets with an extra fee (but it is still cheaper than most other places for me & my cat's month-long stay,) and it is the main reason I chose this hotel. Many hotels will not accept cats at all.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the AC unit under the window works very well & everything is clean. There is no evidence of any pests.

employees were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and very nice for the price. exterior and location were what I expected, wasn't the quietest and didn't feel the safest but it was okay. will likely book here again next time I'm in Denton.
